Heating, cooling and plumbing from one licensed crew
In most homes around here the heating and the plumbing are the same system, so we hold licenses for both in Connecticut and Massachusetts. One call covers the boiler, the water heater and the pipe that froze because the heat went out, instead of two contractors each waiting on the other.

Smart controlsThe jobs that fall between two trades
Holding Connecticut heating license HTG #0398155/S1 and Massachusetts plumbing license PL #172086 matters most on the work that sits in the gap.
- Boilers are plumbing that makes heat. Pressure, expansion tanks, circulators and feed valves are all plumbing components bolted to a heating appliance.
- Frozen pipes are a heating failure. Restoring the heat and repairing the split are the same visit, and splitting them across two companies costs you a day you do not have.
- Water heaters sit next to the furnace and, on an indirect tank, are heated by the boiler. A hot water problem can be a heating problem.
- Condensate and humidifier lines are drains and water feeds tied into heating equipment, and they are exactly the small jobs that get done badly.
- We measure before we quote. Load calculations for equipment, static pressure and airflow for ducts, combustion readings on anything that burns.
- And we file the rebate paperwork. We are in the Energize CT and Mass Save heat pump installer networks, which in Connecticut is a requirement rather than a nicety.
Priority when everyone is calling at once
Annual service, discounted repairs, and priority scheduling on the day every contractor in the valley hits capacity at the same hour. All three plans include 24/7 emergency service, $25 off diagnostics and 15% off repairs.
The reason priority is the valuable part. Heating fails on the first genuinely cold night, and cooling fails in the first heat wave. Demand arrives all at once, so every contractor in the region reaches capacity on the same afternoon. Being on a plan is what decides whether you are seen that day. Compare the three plans.

The pattern is consistent: technicians who arrive when they said they would, explain what they found, and lay out the options before any work starts.
Upon relocating to my new home, I was unfamiliar with the intricacies of oil heating boilers. I contacted Clean Climate, and Mr. Hunter arrived promptly. The communication was exceptional. He evaluated my system, commenced a tune-up, and identified the repairs needed. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.
I would highly recommend Clean Climate HVAC. Tim Mahoney provided a quote very quickly. Scott and his crew were very professional and efficient. With respect for our home, you wouldn't even know his crew were here. The whole process went smoothly, from receiving a quote to the installation of the AC unit.
Hunter was timely, thorough, informative, polite, honest, and detailed. He offered options while thinking long term. I appreciated his demeanor and would recommend him and the company to my own family as well as others. Great experience.
